The Solid State Logic UF1 is a single-fader DAW controller with a 100 mm motorized fader, 1.7 in. and 4.3 in. LCD displays, a weighted jog wheel, dedicated transport keys and 46 customizable soft keys in a metal chassis. It can control up to three DAWs at once, with profiles for Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Studio One, Ableton Live, LUNA and Pyramix.
One SSL fader that runs the whole session.
UF1 brings SSL console workflow to in-the-box production. The motorized fader is the same feel and volume curve engineers expect from SSL, the jog wheel and transport keys move around large sessions quickly, and the secondary transport keys can be set to shortcuts such as loop or click on and off. Press Shift for fast access to DAW automation modes.
The dual displays show track names, parameters, time and SSL Meter plug-in readouts, and give visual feedback for 360 enabled channel strips in the SSL Plug-in Mixer. The large notched encoder handles channel banking, mouse wheel emulation and computer system volume.
